I am a master's student in philosophy at Georgia State University, completing my second year as an Onassis Foundation Scholar. Before coming to GSU, I earned my BA from the University of Athens in 2022.

My research focuses on feminist and LGBTQ+ philosophy and their intersections with epistemology, ontology, and the philosophy of language.

Currently, I am the President of the Minorities and Philosophy Chapter at Georgia State University (2024-2025) and a member of the Graduate Student Council of the American Philosophical Association (2024-2026), where I serve as a liaison to the APA Committee on LGBTQ People in the Profession (2024-2025). Previously, I served two terms on the Youth Advisory Committee of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (2022-2023).

Outside of philosophy, I have published a book and two albums as a lyricist. If you speak Greek, you can check out my blog for more info, listen to my songs on Spotify, or watch my TEDx talk. I also enjoy cooking, hiking, and urban photography.

My pronouns are he/him. I pronounce my first name YAH-nis.
